Honda should take accountability for their errors, and reimburse rental costs for cars that need prolonged repairs due to Honda's defects. This is unethical, unprofessional, and wrong for Honda to know this is an issue, do nothing about it, and then refuse to compensate for costs accrued at no fault of my own. It seems the only reason they are not recalling is they do not have parts to repair their faulty factory part. If there had been a recall, the rental would be fully covered. I have attempted to reach out to American Honda (warranty) on 4 separate occasions, where I have been asked questions that should've been directed to the mechanics in what seems like a way to avoid discussing their known error, and reimbursing the costs of the repair that I have had to pay out of pocket. Not only is this a factory default that Honda is well aware of, but they are unwilling to provide reimbursement for rental car while they fix their known problem. While Honda is covering the repair of my car, this has left me without a car for > 2 weeks, costing me to incur significant rental fees. On looking into this, there have been countless complaints of Honda's 2016-2019 with this same issue - that Honda is aware of, and has not made any steps to recall given back-ordered parts. I took it to the Honda dealer where I was informed that my torque converter had failed. I purchased a certified pre-owned Honda from dealer on. I would like to have the interest refunded from the last telephone calls to date and assistance with the late fees to resolve the last payment. She placed me on hold, and I've been on hold for 25 minutes. I said Well no one did so I was just waiting I told her I would like to make a complaint. Im trying to pay it off and not have the balance increase and the representative said oh the representative should have told you that. I said oh no one said that and I said so you mean to tell me that you all are not customer service oriented and will not call someone back and just leave people hanging and not help customers. She a manager listens to the call and decides if a call is warranted. I spoke with ******** today and she said oh they should have told you that you may or may not get a call. I never received a call, and the balance has increased from that it was because interest acrrues daily on balances. Hello, I called in to ask for assistance with the late charges to pay the last payment on the loan in the amount of $444.66 and I was informed that I would receive a call from a manager to assist with the late charges.
